The A.P.F. was born one day of February 1992 on a simple idea: to create an association which would gather all the in love ones with fishing attending our port, to promote a spirit of friendship, mutual aid and solidarity between its members and to allow them to improve their knowledge as regards environment, of security, techniques of fishing and of course to contribute to the animation and the notoriety of Port-Frejus. A difficult bet especially in the achievement of its objectives. However after several months of operation, we decided by mutual agreement to cross the step and to create officially in April 1993 "the friendly one of the Fisherman-Yachtmen of Port-Fréjus". |

| Since the
A.P.F. is recognized of all, especially for its utility, its contribution to the
development and with the animation of Port-Frejus, site for which I devoted myself body
and heart and which, in the long term will take a place impossible to circumvent in our
department, "one cannot remain insensitive to this splendid réalisation" The assessment of our association since its creation is eloquent: more than 25 annual animations, practically every fifteen days. |

Official outputs approaching various techniques of fishing, each one being preceded by an explanatory meeting. Contests of fishing: the trophy of the tradesmen, "Frejus celebrates his port", the challenge inter-associations of fishing at sea, the challenge thonidés and a contest of surfcasting; various animations like "natural South", the forum of associations, general Assembly, picnic and meal enclosing each season of fishing where ten trophies are decreed with the fishermen who were distinguished during the year. |
| The house of the
fishermen, room of our association, ensures more than one annual hundred meetings and
permanences. The A.P.F, concerned of the protection of our littoral makes recipient of the extra-municipal commission of the sea composed by the representatives of the various users of the sea and is expressed on subjects also significant. |
